Fried Plantains Haitian Style By Lisa Anand
Ingredients
- Raw Plantain-1 kg
- Oil-400 gms for deep frying
For Dip, mix together
- Green coriander paste- 5 table spoons
- Olive oil-2 tablespoon
- Garlic paste-1 Teaspoon
- Onion paste-1 Teaspoon
- Salt- to taste
Method
Peel raw plantain and cut into 2 inch slices. Heat oil in a wok and deep fry the plantains till slightly browned. Remove from heat and press into discs and re fry till crisp on the outside. Serve with coriander dip.
