The Sadya (feast) is an indispensable part of all celebrations, such a a wedding or the annual boat race. For Onam, a Sadya is a must and all Keralites attempt to either make or attend one. A normal Sadhya can have upto 24-28 dishes served on plantain leaves in a specific order.
