Haitian Shrimp cocktail



  • Shrimp – 1 kg, shelled and deveined
  • Olive oil – 1 Tablespoon
  • Lemon juice – 2 Tablespoon
  • Onions – 1 tablespoon, finely chopped
  • Garlic – ½ Tablespoon, finely chopped
  • Coriander – 1 ½ Tablespoon finely chopped
  • Salt – to taste
  • Baguette – cut into small pieces


Boil prawns in water till they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes. Drain, then marinate in the ingredients listed. Serve with baguette.
