Ingredients:

Rice – 1 Cup

Water – 2 cups

Method

Wash the rice and put in a pot with the water. Put the pot on a hot flame. Cover till the water comes to a boil. Then remove the cover and cook in an open container till the rice is cooked in about 20 minutes. Drain excess water, if any and serve the rice immediately. It can be re-heated.
