- Fresh Strawberries – 2 ½ Cups, chopped
- Sugar – 1 Cup
- Water – 1 Cup
Combine water and sugar in a saucepan and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Add the strawberries to the sugar syrup and bring to a boil. Cook for about 10 minutes on a medium heat, then reduce the heat and simmer till the strawberries have completely cooked and softened into the sauce. Strain the cooled liquid into a bottle and refrigerate.
